In open-cockpit single-seaters, open-wheel formula cars, and high-speed karting, oncoming airflow hitting the top of the helmet can cause severe turbulence and unstable lifting forces. This lightweight clear plastic gurney creates a precise separation point at the peak of the shell, forcing aggressive airflow to cleanly detach and smoothly rejoin the main slipstream—significantly reducing neck strain and enhancing stability.
