The Arai GPV-R is designed to meet the very latest safety regulations, being among the first to carry the FIA 8859-2024 and Snell SA2025 approvals. It introduces a redesigned Complex Laminate Construction (CLC) shell with a smoother upper profile, engineered to deflect impact energy more efficiently. The visor pivot and aperture have been lowered to enhance structural integrity and visibility.

Usability is a core focus, featuring a central visor locking mechanism operable from either side and repositioned vents that optimise cooling by 15% over previous designs.
